About Me
Hi, I’m Julia Nolfo (she/her), a designer based in New York City, NY. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Design with a minor in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco. I delved more deeply into my graphic design education with a semester abroad at the University of Arts London, Central St. Martins, focusing on concept-driven design backed by research and long-term development. Through my studies, I developed strong interests in Typography, Publication Design, UI/UX, and Human-Computer Interaction.
In addition to my design work, I’m lucky enough to share my love for education as an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science teaching introductory-level programming courses. I also have an extensive background in Theatre, where I’ve worked as a Lighting Designer and Technician for nearly a decade, engaging with a different side of my creativity. Fun fact: I’m a twin! My sister, Cameron, and I were born on Christmas Eve and our first tattoos were each other's names. ✷
