She is Blue

In this photograph, I wanted to explore the color blue. I wanted to contrast a raw, vulnurable, yet striking image of blue paint spread haphazardly across a woman's body with the more clean-cut and sharp images of blue designers see in the selection of Pantone colors. The piece calls into question how we think about color in different contexts the ways a singular color can be presented to convey different emotions.
